Turning a brand’s story into something a bartender can pour with confidence.
In one of the most competitive bar markets in India.

A trade training should do more than walk a room through tasting notes and technical specs.
It should give bartenders the story behind the bottle, so that story travels with every pour they make afterward.
That’s the thinking behind every training session I run, start with the brand’s world, then hand it to the people who bring it to guests.

Mumbai Trade Takeover

From the clouds to the city

The Takeover
Bringing a gin from the cloudy hills of Meghalaya to India’s toughest bar market.
- Trade Training
- Brand Advocacy
- Bar Takeover
- Hosting
This monsoon, I joined Cherrapunji Gin as Brand Ambassador for their first Mumbai takeover, running trade trainings across some of the city’s most exciting bars and hospitality spaces.

The Venues
Across the weekOver the course of the week, I led sessions at Saffron, Juhu Marriott, 8ish, and Ekka, taking bartenders through the liquid, the story behind it, and what makes Cherrapunji Gin so distinctly rooted in its place: the misty hills of Meghalaya.

Every session ended with the same moment: a bottle born in the Meghalaya clouds, now behind a bar, poured with a story attached.
The training led to a dedicated monsoon cocktail menu running across all four venues.
The week also extended into brand advocacy and bar takeovers across the city, but the trade trainings were where the story got handed off.
